Assignment Overview

We are building a community of interested candidates for upcoming temporary contract assignments. This assignment will focus on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support customer experiences, business operations, and enterprise technology initiatives. Software Engineers may contribute to web applications, mobile solutions, APIs, cloud platforms, data integrations, and internal business systems across a variety of business functions.

Assignment Tasks

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established development standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, and other engineers to define technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and system interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
  • Support application performance monitoring, optimization, and reliability initiatives.
  • Develop automated tests and support quality assurance efforts.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software engineering or software development experience.
  • Experience developing applications using Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce, retail, supply chain, data, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
